Meet Our Peoples
Choice Winners!

Caleb & Crystal
In an effort to be creative many times,
the central theme of the story is lost or diluted. We wanted
to stand out from others competing for this wedding; however
we both agreed that we had a story that needed no gimmicks.
We first met in high school and soon attended senior prom
together where the theme read: Make it Last Forever.
We attributed the theme to a popular song that highlighted
the year, little did we know! Eventually we lost touch and
accepted jobs outside of Toledo. We were each that what
if person in each others lives that so many let
fade away. Thirteen years later we were reunited after having
both moved back to Toledo. Instantly the flame was rekindled
and we have been inseparable ever since.
Recently in June on her birthday, I proposed
to Crystal and she said yes!!!! That was the easy part. After
enjoying our engagement, we began trying to figure out how
to pay for a wedding considering she has gone back to school
and that I work for a non-profit agency. We have both dedicated
our lives to helping people and our careers have reflected
that. Our passion is service to others and we have accepted
the fact that we will never be financially well off. Over
the years, society, especially marriage has become very casual.
Trying to remain traditional in a non-traditional world has
its challenges; however we are focused on maintaining the
sanctity of marriage. Biased or not, we feel that we are both
good people who have not had a lot of breaks in life, and
winning this wedding would finally prove that good people
donŐt always finish last. Without the help from Sounds of
Music/WTOL it will be several years before we are able to
afford a wedding. Please assist us in defining our most valuable
goal in life: to be happy and in love with our best friend!
Thank You!!
